A new edition of the “Jโme Bouge!” event, with the support of champion Christophe Pinna, is about to begin. Objective: to run the Nice-Cannes Marathon in relays, following structured preparation. Registration opens on May 19.
The goal of a lifetime. That’s what karate champion Christophe Pinna is offering to achieve. On November 9, 2025, the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes will feature a rather unique team. Fifteen pairs, formed as part of the “Jโme Bouge!” initiative, will begin the race to run together the 42.195 kilometers linking Nice to Cannes. Each runner will cover half of the course, equivalent to a half-marathon, as a first step towards the ultimate goal, completing their first marathon.
This project is supported by the city with the guidance of Christophe Pinna, a four-time world karate champion. For several years, they have been organizing sporting challenges for residents together. This time, the focus is on pairs. It’s about running in pairs, in relays, to experience the marathon in a different way.
Participants will be supported by Christophe Pinna during five training sessions, three of which are mandatory. These sessions will take place in Nice, between June and October, on the following dates: June 22, September 21, and October 5 for the mandatory sessions; September 7 and October 19 for optional sessions. Each training will be held from 9 AM to noon.
To participate, you must meet several conditions: be between 18 and 65 years old, reside in Nice, be available for training sessions and on the day of the race. Wearing the “Jโme Bouge!” t-shirt is also required.
Registration will open on May 19, 2025, and will be conducted exclusively online on the website https://jmebouge.nice.fr. The number of spots is limited to 30 participants, or 15 pairs.
This initiative provides a structured support for those who wish to take on a sporting challenge in a collective setting.
