Terrorism, cyberattacks, radicalization: political leaders and experts will meet in Nice for the second edition of the Safe & Smart City Conference.
This event will address the theme of “New challenges in the security and safety of smart cities” and will bring together key players and French and Israeli experts from various leading-edge industrial sectors, as well as policymakers.
The topics covered in this edition, revolving around the security of critical infrastructures and intelligent systems in connected cities, are of great strategic importance and are at the heart of political affairs.
Speakers at Safe & Smart City 2017 will discuss tools to combat new forms of terrorism, a threat that poses major challenges to communities.
In round tables, the speakers will debate four major themes: cybersecurity challenges, the fight against radicalization and terrorism, security of connected objects (health, mobility, public servicesโฆ), and cities facing the new terrorist threat.
This conference is the second edition of Safe & Smart City, an event organized by ELNET France, in collaboration with the International Forum on Security Technologies (FITS) and Innovative City. The initiative is based on the bilateral relationship between France and Israel, particularly on the innovative ecosystems of the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur region and Tel Aviv.
More than thirty experts, elected officials, and representatives from institutions and companies from France and Israel will gather for a day of dialogue on the new threats facing “Smart Cities”.
