Today, in the presence of Joseph Segura, mayor of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes department, Laurence Trastour-Isnart, deputy of Alpes-Maritimes, and Vanessa Siegel, vice-president of the Alpes-Maritimes department, the landscaping works of the banks of the Var were presented.
Initiated two years ago, these works have allowed for the clearing of the banks, followed by strengthening and planting them.
With a cost of €8.1 million, these works cover 1.6 km of dike, between the beginning of the industrial zone and the Cap 3000 shopping center.
For the mayor of the town, this represents “a part of Saint-Laurent returned to the residents of Saint-Laurent”.
