The Urbains de Minuit return for the 4th year for the Saint Narcisse Festival! For two weeks, the artists of Nice gaze at their navels and showcase their beauty in the mirror of illusions.
Exhibitions, concerts, performances, during 15 crazy days, “Les Urbains de Minuit” cultivate with mockery and self-mockery the myth of Narcissus.
October 29 has become a grand interdisciplinary and unruly Festival, where projects take shape, where artists gain visibility.
From street to neighborhood, from apartments to shops, from artisans to alternative galleries, in associative concert halls, music, improvisations, exhibitions, theater, performances, screenings, debates, and many projects will be invented and unfolded over 15 days…
From small to big evenings, the spirit of freedom, risk, and sharing reigns over this Festival, invented and (dis)organized by Les Urbains de Minuit: no institution, no subsidy, no sponsor, at the grace of each, which is great!
After Alphonse Allais’s anniversary in 2014, this year marks the centenary of Olivier Garcin’s Garage 103, and some great disruptors born in October: Rimbaud, Brassens, and Wilde for example.
