Since the beginning, it has been understood that the reform of school rhythms symbolizes political opposition to the socialist government. In particular, Christian Estrosi, who made it a cornerstone against Peillon yesterday and against Hamon today. Each has their specialization and the target that comes with it.
Otherwise, why call on citizens (who? why? in what capacity?) to demonstrate publicly?
@cestrosi More than a thousand people to say no to the #schoolrhythms reform imposed against everyone’s advice by the government!
At the same time, the mayors of the department protested outside the Prefecture where a delegation was received by the Prefect.
Following this meeting, the Prefecture announces that 119 out of the 122 concerned municipalities in the department have submitted their project* to the Academy for the implementation of this same law. The four failing municipalities are: Nice, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Isola, and Roquefort-les-Pins.
However, numbers are not the remedy for all reasoning, but will they have any significance… or not?
Meanwhile, the mayor of Nice (whom we imagine was informed of the meetingโs content at the Prefecture) expressed again, as he is fully entitled to, all his opposition: @estrosi: We demand the immediate repeal of this unnecessary and dangerous decree for the children! #schoolrhythms
Unnecessary? Dangerous? Unnecessary perhaps, but dangerous… why?
Well, having conviction in one’s ideas is very good. Perseverance is certainly a virtue… But sometimes, one must know when to stop, and in time.
Stay tuned for the next episode, always in the best interest of the children, of course!
