The Antibes Juan-les-Pins convention center is hosting the 6th edition of the Science and Innovation Village this weekend, in partnership with the Sophia Club Entreprise and the University of Cรดte dโAzur.
This year, the Science and Innovation Village also celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Science Festival, an annual event organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.
This sixth edition will focus on “the emotion of discovery,” an invitation to share a common curiosity and interest in science and innovation.
Over the course of these two days, 40 booths will be presented around four main themes, namely “public research,” “learning differently!”, “environment and astronomy,” and “the digital society.”
The event has been designed to appeal to all audiences, and therefore offers a kidsโ pathway, with more than 10 booths offering activities particularly suited for the youngest attendees.
Who said that an event on science and innovation had to be boring? Here again, these two days have been designed to attract enthusiasts but also the most curious and amateurs. That is why activities such as escape games or planetarium sessions are offered on Saturday and Sunday.
In short, this weekend dedicated to science and innovation is suitable for all types of audiences and is very accessible since entry is free. You can find the entire program [here](https://www.agglo-sophiaantipolis.fr/fileadmin/medias/pdf/actualite/2021/octobre/VSI__programme_2021_web.pdf).
