The 21st edition of the Science Festival will take place all over France from October 10 to 14. Entirely free of charge, this event welcomed over 29,000 visitors last year in the Alpes-Maritimes, including 10,700 schoolchildren: a huge success indeed!!

This year again, the program of the Alpes-Maritimes offers, among the events organized in Antibes, Contes, Eze, Grasse, Nice, Sigale, Sophia Antipolis, Vallauris, and Villefranche-sur-Mer, several large-scale events with great visibility:
- The 8th edition of the Science Village in Nice, Campus Valrose
Having become an unmissable event of the Science Festival, the village will offer, from Wednesday 10 to Sunday 14, animation and experiment stands, a science cafรฉ, a science cinema, as well as fun activities. These numerous activities will be presented under more than 600 mยฒ of tents installed in the park, covering all scientific disciplines and sciences in a broad sense (organized with the support of the City of Nice).
- The 3rd edition of the “Weekend of Sciences in Sophia Antipolis”
For the third consecutive year, Sophia Antipolis will celebrate science with its “Science Weekend Village in Sophia Antipolis”, on October 13 and 14. The program includes numerous stands and workshops animated by a scientific treasure hunt. This year, the village will be organized at the Agora of the International Center of Valbonne, a large exhibition space widely open to the Haut Sartoux Park to give this place, for the time of a weekend, a scientific and festive dynamic, in addition to its sporting and family aspects (organized with the support of the City of Valbonne and the CIV).
- Show โScience on Stageโ: โOur Earth Who Art in Heavenโ
On Friday, October 12, for schoolchildren, and Saturday, October 13 for the general public, there will be a magnificent theatrical scientific show titled โOur Earth Who Art in Heavenโ designed and performed by Jean-Louis Heudier, a renowned astronomical expert from Nice, at the Science Weekend Village in Sophia Antipolis (at the CIV).
