A great satisfaction for A.N.I.C.E.S, which organized this major international sports competition for the second time, representing the Handisport movement, unique to Nice in 2011.
At the Albert Malatesta gymnasium in Nice Nord, 37 matches took place, over 10 hours of competition, for the 9 teams participating, including 5 international teams: Brussels (Belgium), Salzburg (Austria), Munich (Germany), Bolzano, Turin (Italy), and 4 national teams (Paris CSINI the trophy holder, Tours, Nice 1, and Nice 2).
The years follow one another and resemble each other
The city of Paris won the tournament again in its final against Brussels (5-0), followed by Bolzano, who finished on the podium.
Nice1 ranked 5th (4 victories and 4 defeats), and Nice2 ended the ranking with a young but deserving team. These were very high-level teams (first division) that faced each other with very exciting matches and sometimes very close scores. A great sporting atmosphere with evident respect for the opponent throughout the day.
Furthermore, for this 2011 edition, ANICES aimed to add a touch of relaxation with the intervention of the Zenitime association (seated massage workshop), as well as a festive ambiance with the presence of a traditional Niçoise folkloric group.
