This Monday, February 21, Cédric O, the Secretary of State for the Digital Transition and Electronic Communications, will be traveling to Nice to meet the Nice tech ecosystem and officially launch the “Incubation” phase of French Tech Tremplin, the French Tech’s equal opportunity program.
After discussions with the members of French Tech Côte d’Azur, Cédric O will meet the new laureates of the French Tech Tremplin program, who will present their backgrounds and aspirations to him. Launched in 2019, this initiative aims to support entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds in the French tech ecosystem and help them develop their entrepreneurial projects. The program is divided into two parts.
The first phase, known as “Prep,” was launched in November 2021 and allowed 328 project leaders to solidify their projects by receiving tailored support for their needs. The second phase, lasting 12 months, is an incubation phase for the most mature projects. The minister will thus engage with the laureates of the “incubation” phase.
Cédric O will then visit the offices of the start-up Livmed’s, which offers a 24/7 medication delivery service, with or without a prescription, for individuals, pharmacies, nursing homes, and hospitals. In December 2021, it was one of the four start-up laureates of the French Tech Rise program, which recognized the future regional gems.
