The Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes, in order to prevent any disturbance to public order and tranquility and any serious harm to individuals during the end-of-year celebrations, has announced the following measures:
(i) Prohibition of the sale, possession, and use of fireworks.
(ii) Cafés, cabarets, and all establishments serving drinks for on-site consumption, as well as restaurants, may remain open until five o’clock on December 25, 2018, and January 1, 2019, in all municipalities of the department.*
(iii) Except on the terraces of authorized restaurants and drinking establishments, the consumption of alcohol in public places is prohibited from 11 PM on December 31, 2018, to 5 AM on January 1, 2019.
(iv) Finally, any minor under the age of thirteen not accompanied by an adult will not be allowed to move around in the aforementioned places from 11 PM on December 31, 2018, to 5 AM on January 1, 2019.
