This is a case that has caused a lot of noise and stir in Nice. The court has delivered its verdict, sentencing Henri Alonzo to one year of imprisonment without parole, two additional years with a suspended sentence, and supplementary penalties.
The general manager of Semiacs, the company that manages paid parking in Nice, was facing charges in court for “sexual assault by a person abusing their authority” and “witness tampering.”
Three employees of Semiacs accused him of sexual assault and harassment. Following the verdict, they declared themselves “relieved.”
The prosecutor had requested a three-year suspended sentence, coupled with psychological treatment measures and a five-year prohibition on holding managerial positions.
The lawyers for Henri Alonzo announced that they were appealing this decision.
