The President of the Senate, Gรฉrard LARCHER, has appointed Senator Dominique ESTROSI-SASSONE to the National Council of Cities (CNV).
This body, founded in 1988 and placed under the authority of the Prime Minister, contributes to the design, development, and implementation of urban policy. More specifically, the CNV is involved in areas such as housing, living environment, education, health, and also crime prevention.
Senator Dominique ESTROSI-SASSONE is pleased with this appointment, which will allow her to oversee the application of laws passed in the Senate (ELAN, Equality and Citizenship). It will also enable her to present at the highest level the actions implemented under the city contract and in the context of urban renewal operations, particularly in the territory of the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis and within the municipalities of the Alpes-Maritimes covered by urban policy.
