The azure right will thus have five senators for the next six years: Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, Henri Leroy, Alexandra Borchio-Fontimp, Philippe Tabarot, and Patricia Demas.
The LR list received 69.53% of the votes (1,367), ahead of the right-wing dissident list led by LR dissident Anne Sattonnet (10.63%, 209 votes) and the left and Greens union (10.47%, 206 votes) led by Alain Michellis, two lists that will therefore have no seats.
The “United for the Alpes-Maritimes” list that I had the honor to lead achieved a historic score this evening by bringing five senators into the senate.

Local “barons” were quick to express themselves, doing so immediately after the announcement of the results.
Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, said: “I am delighted with the victory of the ‘United for the Alpes-Maritimes’ list led by Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, which this evening wins all five senatorial seats. I am pleased to see the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis represented by two highly talented senators in the person of Dominique Estrosi-Sassone and Patricia Demas.”
Charles-Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council: “I would like to salute the tremendous victory of the ‘United for the Alpes-Maritimes’ list, led by Senator Dominique Estrosi-Sassone. She begins her second term as senator today, a seat she holds with commitment and determination. Dominique knows perfectly the realities and complexities of our territories, which she travels throughout the year.”
