Health, sports, culture, cuisine, free demonstrations and workshops, as well as numerous shows, will be on the program from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., in the enchanting setting of Albert I Garden and on the stage of the Théâtre de Verdure.
To close the day, a grand dance will be organized from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Théâtre de Verdure.
A demonstration and culinary workshops will be offered by the Disciples of Auguste Escoffier and local chefs around Niçoise Cuisine.
Emmanuel Visentin — Pastry Chef of the Nice University Hospital — and François-Xavier Michaud — Culinary Professor at Lycée Hôtelier Paul Augier (Disciples of Auguste Escoffier), Luc Salsedo (Chef and creator of Socca Chips), and Franck Viano (from Un dîner presque parfait) will offer their take on the two flagship dishes of Niçoise cuisine, the Niçoise Salad and the Pan Bagnat, at stand no. 14 starting at 10 a.m. They will be assisted by students from the Paul Augier Hotel School in Nice.
The afternoon will be dedicated to two free culinary workshops (2×20 people) centered around the Pan Fruchat (Fruit Pan Bagnat). Forty seniors will have the opportunity to participate* in making the dessert that earned Franck Viano the victory on the show “Un dîner presque parfait.”
