As part of the environmental conference evenings organized by the Marine World Discovery Center at Phoenix Park, a conference will be led by Daniel Mercier, founder of the World Festival of Underwater Pictures in Antibes/Juan-les-Pins and General Delegate on the following theme: “Dive into the heart of the most beautiful images of the sea.”
During this conference, some of the best films from the 2007 World Festival of Underwater Pictures will be shown, including:
- “Sharks Under High Surveillance” by C. Pétron and Y. Lefèvre (France), Silver Palm at the Festival;
- “Insatiable” by J. Lachat (Switzerland), Award for Unusual Film at the Festival;
- “One for All” by L. Blanco (Spain), Award from the French Federation of Cinema and Video;
- “Smirnoff Sea” by M. Valentine (Great Britain), Gold Palm in the advertising film category.
