This Thursday, July 6 at 6:30 PM at the AnimaNice Gorbella Center
The city of Nice, through making its AnimaNice centers available, offered an original artistic project this year to about twenty teenagers from Nice: “Move for Nice,” conducted as part of the “Urban Attitude*” initiatives.
Their challenge: to compose songs, create choreographies, record a two-track CD and a video clip, and perform on stage. The teenagers were guided throughout the year by Virginie Blasi, a dance teacher at AnimaNice, and artist Mรฉdard Niang, a former member of the group Alliance Ethnik.
Two performances have already been held, last April at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure for the closing of the “Urban Attitude” festival and in June during one of the AnimaNice dance galas. The young people from Nice will perform on stage once again and will present their songs “Bouger” and “Revoir pousser les fleurs,” a song in tribute to the victims of the July 14, 2016 attack in Nice.
