This year again, Sidaction hopes to collect more funds than last year with the operation “Les chefs solidaires”. This event, under the aegis of Line Renaud, calls on restaurateur chefs. The third edition of “Les chefs solidaires” will take place on Thursday, June 9.
Six young chefs from Alpes Maritimes: Gilles Ballestra, Jilali Berrekama, Marc Chevalier, Frรฉdรฉric Galland, Josรฉ Orsini, Luc Salsedo, all loyal friends, have answered the call from Sidaction. Passionate, they share the same generosity of heart to help this association and people affected by the virus.
Thanks to you, the chefs will donate 10% of their day’s proceeds to Sidaction. The funds raised will be used for research and prevention in the fight against AIDS.

The Operation
The operation ‘Les Chefs solidaires’ is primarily about rallying restaurant professionals. The goal is to create an event of solidarity in favor of people living with HIV/AIDS. It is based on a simple principle: inviting the public to reserve a table in one of the participating restaurants, which allows these establishments to increase their turnover and, most importantly, to donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds to Sidaction.
Benefiting people living with HIV in France and abroad with a healthy and balanced diet, taking into account the specific nutritional problems they face, is part of Sidaction’s missions. For Sidaction, it is therefore important to call on restaurateurs. Beyond fundraising and the media coverage of the operation, “Les chefs solidaires” will help raise awareness among a wide audience about the fight against AIDS, make it clear that this battle concerns everyone, and highlight the solidarity of the restaurant professionals.
Donations made by restaurant professionals entitle them to a reduction in their corporate tax or personal income tax equal to 60% of the donation within the limit of 0.5% of turnover.
