The economic improvement is not reflected in the job market. On the contrary, month after month, bad news continues to hit the labor market.
In April, the number of job seekers with no activity (category A) increased by 26,200 in the metropolitan area to reach a new record: 3.536 million, an increase of 0.7% according to figures released yesterday, Monday, June 1st, by the Ministry of Labor and by Pôle emploi.
For the Alpes-Maritimes, there was no pause in April: an increase of 0.2% with 68,697 job seekers. Over one year, the increase is 7.5%.
