Yesterday, at the Saint Pierre d’Arène church, the association “De bonne compagnie” distributed 214 free meal vouchers for individuals referred by the Secours Populaire, the Restos du Coeur, and the Communal Social Action Center.
“Giving while having fun” is the message that Henri Concas, president of the association “De bonne compagnie,” specializing in the performing arts, wants to convey.
Indeed, this gesture of solidarity was made possible thanks to an “apéro-impro” held last December by Henri Concas and his small troupe of actors at the Jorge François forum.
These meal coupons will thus complement the 30 free lunches offered every month at the Jorge François forum. Beyond food assistance, they provide them with a welcoming and quality service. And most importantly, the opportunity to break their isolation.
For theater and improvisation enthusiasts, the association “De bonne compagnie” is organizing another apéro-impro this Saturday at the Jorge François forum. This will be another opportunity to raise funds to help isolated individuals.
