An active participant in the nonprofit world for many years, Carrefour is organizing the 8th edition of Les Boucles du Cลur until June 17, an event created to support organizations aiding children in difficulty.
This year, the funds raised thanks to donations from Carrefour Nice TNL customers will go to the Grรฉgory Lemarchal Association to help end cystic fibrosis.
Carrefour is committed to supporting organizations working for children. In 2018, Les Boucles du Cลur are organized for the benefit of more than 300 local associations throughout the country.
Nationally, the Medical Research Foundation will benefit from the donations collected. They will be allocated to pediatric research in the fields of neurogenetic diseases and childhood cancers. The 2017 edition raised 2.6 million โฌ, of which 390,000 โฌ were given to the Grรฉgory Lemarchal Association.
The supported associations
The Carrefour Nice TNL store chose to support the Grรฉgory Lemarchal Association. Since 2007, the association has been funding significant research programs to save lives, providing support to patients and their families to improve their lives, informing the public about the harsh reality of cystic fibrosis, and tirelessly raising awareness about the importance of organ donation.
Every Friday and Saturday until June 17, the association is present in the shopping mall to raise awareness among customers and ensure the sale of pastries (in the morning) and tarts (in the afternoon).
