On December 20, 2024, the Student House in Nice will open its doors to a hundred students for a friendly and inclusive evening. This event will be free and open to all students from the Alpes-Maritimes. A festive Christmas meal will be offered along with various activities.
The Solidarity Christmas is organized by FACE06, a federation of student associations in the Alpes-Maritimes. This project is based on a collective effort: volunteers, local partners, and donors come together to ensure free access to this evening. Local businesses and institutions provide logistical and financial support. This allows this initiative to come to life every year.
Beyond the festivities, this event addresses a crucial social issue: combatting student isolation. The objective is clear: to offer a moment of respite and human warmth to those who need it during a period often synonymous with loneliness. Whether they are far from family, limited by financial constraints, or without strong family ties, many young people find themselves alone during the holidays. The Solidarity Christmas offers them a caring and warm environment. Everyone can share a moment with others in a festive atmosphere.
