At the foot of the giant visual of Nice Etoile, a few people, including the Nice-based artist SAB, gathered to cover a few kilometers for a good cause. Indeed, the organization SOS Breast Cancer held the “Jogging Rose” race this Sunday.
8 euros to participate and a strong message in return. The “Jogging Rose” race is open to everyone. The purpose of this race is to remind and warn women about the risk of breast cancer. Today, one in eight women is affected by this disease, and it remains the leading cause of mortality.
The “Jogging Rose” is therefore organized this morning in the context of breast prevention and screening. It is also to provide support and help to women affected by gynecological and breast cancers.
Participants, dressed in “pink”, had the option to run 6 kilometers or walk 4 kilometers, reaching the Promenade du Paillon, passing by Jean Médecin and Masséna, before returning to the starting point.
Upon their return, a fitness coach awaited them for stretching sessions, along with fruit smoothies offered by Zumo.
