For the 2020 edition of the Fête de la Musique, spontaneous concerts are prohibited, announced the Prefecture.
Nevertheless, the derogatory regime provided for by decree 2020-724 of June 14, 2020, allows the organization of events with more than 10 people in public areas or on public property after prior authorization is issued by the Prefect in coordination with the concerned mayor, provided that the organizational conditions ensure compliance with health constraints.
This provision thus allows communities that wish to organize very controlled events in public spaces.
