UPE06 and the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry are organizing a conference on December 6th on the theme “Sport as a Catalyst for the Economy of the Alpes-Maritimes,” after which UPE06 and the University of NICE SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS (IAE Nice) will sign a partnership agreement for the structuring and management of the sports sector in the Alpes-Maritimes.
UPE06, the territorial representative of MEDEF and CPME, has committed to structuring the sports economic sector in the Alpes-Maritimes following the national sector contract signed by MEDEF and CPME with the State in March 2016.
This sector contract commits stakeholders to actions benefiting innovation, training, the development of the attractiveness of French territories, and our foreign trade.
The Azurean territory, beyond the strength of the panorama (a true open-air sports ground year-round), boasts a tradition of major international sporting events, organizes recurring high-profile events, and also has leading companies in their field, dedicated sports clusters, numerous elite sports clubs, an expanding range of sports facilities, and finally, a Sports and Technology dynamic around the French Tech Côte d’Azur.
