Sport in “Pink” at the CROS: “The Evening of Women Leaders”

Latest News

The evening’s principle is simple: to say a big thank you to them! A big thank you to all those women volunteer leaders who have committed themselves to the sporting associative life. A big thank you for their dedication despite the difficulties they face, not only as leaders but also as Female Leaders.

cnosf-4.jpg A great first…

For years, these women have taken the reins of Leagues, Committees, or Sports Clubs, all while managing their professional and family lives. For years, they have been told they do not have a place in high leadership positions simply because they are women, and yet… they are right there!!

So tonight, everyone is mobilizing to finally say thank you for all the work accomplished with heart: the CROS and its Women’s Commission as organizers, as well as each League, Committee, and Club having elected their own female volunteers they wished to see rewarded.

The presence of nearly 130 people truly reflects all the recognition that the sports associative world conveys to them.

Among the 130 people, the following will honor us with their presence:

  • Mr. Vincent MORISSE, Mayor of Sainte-Maxime
  • Mrs. Josiane DE MOURGUES-DEVAUX, Municipal Councilor of the city of Sainte-Maxime
  • Mr. Alain KOUBI, President of CROS Côte d’Azur
  • Mr. Pierre CAMBREAL, Delegate President of CROS Côte d’Azur
  • Mr. Patrick COLLETTE, President of the Côte d’Azur Basketball League and Vice-president of CROS CA
  • Mr. Christian MIGOUT, chief trainer of the women’s commission

THE ROUND TABLE

The first part of the evening will take place around a round table on the theme: “The place of the female volunteer leader in sports.” It will be studied through various questions:

– Question #1: “Quotas, positions, and tasks assigned to women and the behavior of men. What are the developments?”

– Question #2: “How to reconcile being a woman with holding a leadership position?”

– Question #3: “What are the developments in the recruitment of women leaders?”

Speaking on this issue:

  • Elisabeth BARRAUD, President of Côte d’Azur Triathlon League and Secretary General of CROS CA
  • Karine BERKOUK, President of the SIK Karate Club
  • Perrine PAUL, co-president of Toulon-Saint-Cyr Var Handball
  • Céline PERON, President of the Regional Gymnastics Committee
  • Marie-Agnès PORTERO, President of the Departmental Badminton Committee 06
