“We are delighted with the first-time participation of visitors and exhibitors from new industry sectors, as well as the negotiation of important contracts until the last day of the market,” announced Ms. Amparo Di Fede, General Director of SPORTEL.

The other highlights of SPORTEL included: the Georges Bertellotti Golden Podium Awards Night, the International Symposium: “Olympic Impact – London 2012: What Legacy for the Sports Media Industry?” and the SPORTEL conferences in partnership with SVG “Future Technologies by 2014 for Sports Broadcasting and Multiple Screens.”

The main market players commend the developments of SPORTEL for highlighting current topics like “multiple screens” while providing participants the opportunity to find technology and service provider partners to optimize and monetize the distribution of sports content.

The next SPORTELMonaco will be from October 14 to 17, 2013.
