SPORTEL Monaco, the international meeting of sports, television, and new media, will take place from October 10 to 13, 2011, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. It is the reference event for professionals in the sports-themed audiovisual industry. The only European market dedicated exclusively to televised sports programs and events.
The Grimaldi Forum in Monaco is thus preparing to welcome professionals coming from all corners of the globe: SPORTEL gathered last year 2,188 participants representing 922 companies from 68 countries.
As a world leader for over 20 years in the buying and selling of sports programs and content for television and new media, SPORTEL also offers during these four days a high-level conference program and sports demonstrations.
On October 10, a conference on the Olympic Games and the revolutionary breakthrough of sports, to discover how major sports broadcasters were able to work with their television counterparts to engage their common audiences in the context of London 2012.
On October 11, a symposium on the added value of connected TVs for sports in the presence of athletes, industry professionals, and representatives from ministerial institutions. A conference to understand if, in a world where digitization is so rapid, new digitalization technologies are a new opportunity for sports broadcasting.
The prestigious Georges Bertellotti Golden Podiums ceremony (open to the public by invitation) rewards the best sports images and replays of the year at an international level.
