On the occasion of the spring holidays, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco is offering a rich and interactive program to explore the Mediterranean in a different way. With immersive experiences, educational workshops, and fun activities, both young and old can have unforgettable moments. From April 11 to 26, 2026, visitors are invited to marvel, learn, and engage with family or friends.
At the heart of this program, the exhibition “Mediterranean 2050” continues to captivate the audience, recently surpassing the milestone of 575,000 visitors. This immersive experience plunges participants into a future where the Mediterranean Sea has regained its full wealth. Through a monumental projection, the public discovers regenerated marine ecosystems populated by turtles, cetaceans, and other iconic species.
But the exploration doesn’t stop there. The journey also invites you to go back in time, from the origins of the Mediterranean to today, through the major stages of its preservation. With interactive devices and educational content, everyone is invited to better understand current environmental issues and to commit to the protection of the Ocean.
Immersive Experiences for All Audiences
Among the highlights of this holiday, the IMMERSEAVE VR animation offers a unique virtual reality dive. Equipped with the latest generation headsets, visitors explore a marine protected area for 13 minutes. The curious discover posidonia meadows and coralligenous reefs up to 45 meters deep. A striking immersion that highlights the tangible benefits of conservation actions.
Challenge enthusiasts can also try their hand at the museum’s escape game. In teams, participants board the mythical ship Princess Alice II to solve puzzles and avoid a shipwreck. A fun and collaborative activity, ideal to share with family or friends.
Another must-do activity: “sea shore animals”. This sensory experience allows close-up observation of crabs, starfish, or sea cucumbers. Participants discover their essential role in the Mediterranean ecosystem.
At Club Oceano, Children Go on an Adventure
Big news for this holiday: Club Oceano reinvents itself with a new formula for children aged 6 to 12. Supervised by scientific mediators, the young ones explore a different theme each week.
- April 13 to 17: apprentice oceanographers.
- April 20 to 24: polar discovery.

On the program: scientific experiments, manipulations, games, and creative activities to better understand marine ecosystems.
Every child leaves with a fun and educational “explorer’s kit”, containing a journal, coloring kit, and identification guide, to extend the experience beyond the museum.
A Fun and Engaged Outing
Beyond entertainment, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco reaffirms its vocation: raising public awareness on ocean conservation. Thanks to innovative tools, such as the “My Oceano Med” application, visitors can continue their engagement and take on concrete challenges in favor of the Mediterranean.
Between scientific discoveries, immersive experiences, and fun activities, the museum offers a rich and captivating program. During the spring holidays, it stands out as an essential destination on the French Riviera.
A complete program that promises to awaken awareness while captivating visitors, whatever their age!
