The Food Bank needs food items to help the most disadvantaged. This is why the “Spring Collections” in the department stores are of vital importance. During the “Spring Collections,” DONATE!
Unemployment, wage reductions, rising expenses! More and more of our fellow citizens are in great difficulty and can no longer ensure the essentials.
The Food Bank and its Partner Associations are constantly being solicited to help these families.
The volunteers at the Food Bank will request the generosity of customers:
– Saturday, March 3: Casino Vallauris, Leclerc Le Cannet
– Saturday, March 17: Casino Cagnes and Le Cros
– Saturday, March 24: Casino Nice Ferber
The Food Bank never asks for money during its Collections; this spring, it especially needs canned goods (vegetables, fruits, fish), baby food, and hygiene products.
The proceeds from these collections are entirely redistributed within the department, throughout the year, by the network of 104 Partner Associations and CCAS of the Food Bank: 1,200 tons of food items equivalent to 2,400,000 meals were distributed in 2011.
