During the spring vacation of 2014 (until May 2), the activity teams of the city of Nice offer spring activities to the children and young teenagers of Nice, centered around the theme of a “colorful” Nature.
During this school vacation, at the Rothschild municipal leisure center, 130 children participated daily in spring activities centered around the theme of a “colorful” nature!
The educational team offers the youngest children (aged 3 to 5 years) a journey with “Belle the Ladybug” into the world of insects. They learn how to challenge the carnivorous plant Picavor.
Conversely, the older children (6 to 12 years), enrolled in the school of natural arts, follow the trail of the Eccentric who has stolen artworks.
Everyone then has the chance to enjoy and linger together at various game stands: The Flowery Farandole, The Seasonal Basket, The Tree of Poems, The Insect Fishing…
This spring celebration is an opportunity to recall all the sports and cultural activities, outings in the middle and high country, races in the great outdoors, nature and wildlife discovery, gardening workshops; so much adventure and surprise for the 2,300 young people from Nice enrolled in the 18 municipal leisure centers.
When the spring vacation ends, it will be time to think about the summer vacation!
Children and teenagers will be able to participate in:
– Cultural and sports activities in the municipal leisure centers
– Activities on the Impératrice Eugénie site, including notably workshops for teenagers at the “Boulegazic” studio
– Aquatic and nautical sports, for all registered children in municipal leisure centers, at the Li Rateta Center on Centenaire Beach;
– “Full nature” workshops for 8 to 12-year-olds and 13 to 17-year-olds on the 11 hectares of the “Terra’Ventura Center at Sclos de Contes”
– Stays at the Mountain center of Beuil les Launes
– Adapted leisure activities for children with disabilities thanks to the specialized team “Les Coccinelles”
