On the occasion of the “Climbing and Heritage” day, the “Tourism and Culture Hub” association of Saint-Jeannet is organizing an amateur film competition.
The competition “your summit cinema” allows anyone to submit a short film focusing on rock climbing, whether on cliffs, in the mountains, or indoors.
Several categories are available to participants:
– Thrill: “The pleasure of sharing the atmosphere, the determination, the struggle, and the joys of our vertical passion.”
– Beauty: “The places, the people, the images.”
– Funny: “Do not confuse with gags made for videos…”
– Sponsors: “Highlight one or several brands sponsoring the event.”
The deadline for submitting a copy is April 30, 2011.
The results will be announced during a special evening
on Saturday, May 21, starting at 8:00 PM
With many rewards up for grabs.
Rules:
– Film duration: from 1 minute to a maximum of 5 minutes.
– Quality/format: films made with mobile phones, cameras, or others,
they must be able to be projected on a screen. Media: CD, DVD, or USB key.
– A film competes in all categories but can only receive one award.
– A film may be rejected based on a simple decision by the jury.
– Written agreements from all individuals present and recognizable in the images must be included.
– Any music used must have the appropriate broadcasting rights, a copy of these rights must be included.

– Films awarded in the “sponsors” category may be used by the brands
while mentioning the name of the film’s creator.
– Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
