St-Jeannet: Climbing and Heritage Day

Latest News

On May 22, from 10 AM to 5 PM, the Climbing and Heritage Day will be held in St-Jeannet.

Following the success of the 2010 edition, which attracted nearly 500 people despite unfavorable weather, the town has decided to repeat this event that combines rock climbing with the discovery of Saint-Jeannet’s historical heritage.

Indeed, the town of Saint-Jeannet has been globally renowned for nearly half a century for its Baou and the outdoor activities one can engage in there. The 2011 edition program includes:

– Rappelling down the church bell tower – church square
– Rappelling down the Panorama – place on the oven/panorama
– Children’s zip line – church square
– Adults’ zip line – Renรฉ Veyssi parking lot
– Artificial bouldering for Leisure Activities – Renรฉ Veyssi parking lot

Guided tours of the village will be offered regularly throughout the day, and the local farmers’ market will also be present at the event this year, offering attendees the chance to discover local products.
