Stop the noon cannon shot on July 14th.

For 125 years, a “cannon shot” has sounded every noon in the Azure Coast’s capital.

Of course, it’s not a real cannon, but rather an air maroon used by a pyrotechnician.

Following the attack on July 14, 2016, this dull noise reminded people of the tragedy that impacted Nice.

The municipal council has decided to no longer fire the cannon at noon on July 14th.
