On the occasion of the Galeries Lafayette vintage fortnight, street art works cover the establishment’s arcades.
It’s the second time this year that the brand has called upon street artists to cover the facades of the establishment on the occasion of commercial fortnights.
From November 8th to November 20th, old posters of Galeries Lafayette have been pasted on these arcades, mixed with paintings. These are the works of artists César Malafi and Jennifer Miller.
Combining Renaissance and graffiti, these urban art pieces result in a very aesthetic, highly “Instagrammable” outcome and have already been posted numerous times on social media.
The creation of these works took place in front of passersby on November 8th and 9th during a “live painting” event.
