The Prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes informs that, given the current international context, the threats made against France, and the assassination of one of our citizens in Algeria, the State has decided to strengthen its vigilance measures in certain areas, particularly in large stores and shopping centers.
Thus, the state calls on all public and private officials to increase their vigilance, especially in public areas around the most frequented sites, at the entrances, and inside buildings open to the public.
The concerned establishments have received all necessary information on the importance of exercising a high level of vigilance and taking all sufficient precautions to ensure their safety and that of their visitors.
The vigilance of all citizens contributes to the strengthening of the Nation’s protection. Everyone must be vigilant in the most frequented public places.
