During a conference, the Intersyndicale laid out the reasons for their decision to oppose the government’s policy. To express their dissatisfaction, they chose the traditional method: Today will be a day of strike!
The trade unions: CFDT – CGT – FSU – UNSA and FO of the Alpes Maritimes Public Functions are calling on public service employees from all three sectors to participate in a day of strike and demonstration on May 15th.
Together, they denounce:
– The freeze on the salary index point until 2017
– The lack of salary negotiations
– The deterioration of the quality of public employment
– The government’s austerity policy
Together, they call on public service workers to take action
– For an increase in purchasing power
– For better quality public services
– For the maintenance of public jobs
– For a genuine public service guaranteeing citizens equal access
