The world of higher education will soon be opening up to the future high school graduates of the Nice Academy (over 15,000 in 2010). They will join the approximately 55,000 students in the department. Their main concern is orientation.

study.jpg The University of Nice Sophia Antipolis and its 13 components will answer all questions regarding orientation possibilities, and its University Foundation UNICE will also be available to inform you about its projects and engage in dialogue with you.

UNS launched the UNICE Foundation on July 5, 2010, to enhance its competitiveness and attractiveness on an international level. The UNICE Foundation brings together everyone who wishes to support it around major projects: enhancing equal opportunities and professional integration by facilitating access to higher education and employment for young and older individuals in situations of social, economic, and disability vulnerability.

UNS offers courses in various fields: Sciences, Letters, Languages, Communication, Arts, Human Sciences, Law, Political Science, Economics and Management, Engineering School, IUT, Medicine, Dentistry, Speech Therapy, Midwifery, Geography, Sustainable Development, Teaching professions (IUFM), etc.

As every year, the academic inspection of the Alpes Maritimes, ONISEP, the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS), and the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte-Dโ€™Azur region are partners of the event.

Over the course of two days, this fair will give future high school graduates and students the opportunity to discover and interact with professionals and navigate through the thousands of existing courses.

Note that an “International Courses” pavilion will be set up.

An orientation area will be organized with the participation of guidance counselors from the CIO (Information and Orientation Center) who will offer young people personalized interviews.

Housing, scholarships, student social security, rights, leisure… Young people will find all the essential information for a good daily life in the “student life” area. The CRIJ (Regional Youth Information Center) and the CROUS of Nice-Toulon (Regional University and School Works Center) will animate this space.

Regarding employment, professionals from AFIJ (Association to facilitate the professional integration of young graduates) will allow visitors to inquire about the real career prospects of courses and the sectors with job opportunities, especially at the regional level.

Main highlights of the fair:

The “Orientation Guides” Point. Studyrama provides visitors with numerous thematic brochures on orientation: The Official Studyrama Guide to Higher Education – Mediterranean as well as guides on careers and courses.

Offers for internships and jobs will be posted on bulletin boards.

A bookstore will be set up.

Conferences will also be organized during these two days. On this occasion, visitors will be able to exchange with professionals on major orientation topics.
