nicoise-3.jpg At precisely 8:30 p.m., the participants of this new edition of the Niçoise set off from Place Masséna. Thousands of women (but not only… here and there were a few gentlemen who also decided to take part in this festive and colorful event, dressed as women for the occasion, to show their support for this cause.) in the colors of the fight against cancer and all wearing their pink T-shirts and enthusiastically waving glow bracelets distributed by the organization,

Indeed, each participation in the Niçoise and the Haribo Family Run events allowed for donating €1 per registration to the League Against Cancer. Therefore, a check for €2,500 was officially presented to Alain PIRIOU, vice president of the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes.

An hour earlier, it was the participants (of all genders and ages) of the walking version of the Niçoise, the Haribo Family Run, also in support of the fight against breast cancer, who had set off.

There was excitement and good humor at the start! And excitement there was! From the beginning of the evening and as a warm-up, a giant Zumba session was led energetically by the coaches of Fitlane. A real success that got all the participants in the Niçoise into the spirit a few minutes before the start.

Apart from the traditional timekeeping that declared Hanan FARHOUN the winner of the Niçoise by taking the podium at 17’58’’, followed by Juliet CHAMPION at 18’27’’, and Nathalie QUESNOT at 19’37’’.
