Sucker Punch, directed by Zack Snyder, is currently leading the box office with over 500,000 viewers. The director of 300 and Watchmen presents Sucker Punch as his first original feature film. He immerses us in the world of young Baby Doll, who is forcibly confined in a mental asylum and finds in her imagination the strength needed to devise an escape plan. Four other inmates will join the adventure: Sweet Pea, Rocket, Blondie, and Amber.

You got it right, Sucker Punch is a potpourri of pop culture from the past thirty years, inviting us without reservation to follow in a visual effects extravaganza the adventures of sexy young girls, faced with utterly mind-bending situations where they have to play the tough guys.
Action and visual prowess only
Don’t look for any depth in the dialogues or well-crafted plot twists; the film is only worthwhile for its atmosphere and the visual mastery of the director. If you’re allergic to slow-motion scenes and explosions, it’s better to skip it. For others, you’re in for a good pop-corn cinema moment, completely crazy and slightly better constructed than the soulless B-movies usually served to us.
