For the 4th season, Les Ouvreurs and Lo Peolh Cinema are offering an open-air screening on July 11, 2012, at St. Roch School as part of their event “Summer Quarter”.
Several partners—the association NOUS (Nice Ouverture Union Solidarité), the CIDFF (Women’s and Family Information Center) and SIS Association—are participating in this event, which is now part of the extension of Gender Week, organized every year in March.
This year, the cycle “En-chanted Comedies” concludes with VICTOR VICTORIA by Blake Edwards (USA – 1982 – 2h12 – subtitled – 35mm – restored copy). “A small marvel of grace and humor. Edwards brings his favorite themes to perfection: sexual ambiguity and the play on appearances. (…) But the film is above all a hymn to tolerance and love.”
8:00 PM: Picnic possible in the schoolyard
9:00 PM: Loïc Bettini and the Puppets of the Sun
9:30 PM: Film screening (remember to bring a cushion)
