On Sunday night into Monday, the final of the American football championship took place, between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.
A few dozen people spent the night at the Hard Rock Café to watch the game.
The Hard Rock Café transformed into a slice of the United States for a few hours. Starting at 10 p.m., the first fans arrived at the restaurant to get ready for the biggest game of the season.
They were welcomed with 100% American dishes: burgers, hot dogs, ribs, accompanied by beer or soda. To enhance the American atmosphere that already filled the place, four cheerleaders provided entertainment before and during the game.
At 12:30 a.m., the time the game began, all eyes were on the numerous screens throughout the establishment, following the match between the two best teams of the regular season.
Mostly supporting the Philadelphia Eagles, the fans at the Hard Rock Café were thrilled. Indeed, it was their team that, against all odds, won the 52nd Super Bowl against the New England Eagles (41-33).
Although they were trailing for most of the match, the Patriots, led by legendary quarterback Tom Brady (40 years old and MVP of the season), managed to take the lead with 9 minutes left before collapsing and allowing the Eagles to claim their first Super Bowl victory.
