Born on May 15, 1992 at EDHEC Business School, Le Pitchoun is celebrating its 17th spring in 2009. Every year, the students of this business school and members of the “Le Pitchoun” association share two goals: to pound the streets of the region in search of good addresses and to approach local advertisers to finance their booklet.

This year again the students have succeeded in the challenge of publishing more than 140,000 copies. They will be distributed on March 27 and 28 at Place Masséna, Promenade des Anglais, Carrefour, Fnac, Pathé cinemas, Société Générale agencies, Ligne d’Azur, the Tourist Office, Fac de Sciences Valrose, and of course on your news site, Nice Premium. You will discover a red and black superhero who takes his inspiration from American comics. The reader will be guided through a universe of images and speech bubbles across the 320 pages of addresses. Romain Palpacuer, the president of the 2009 edition, successfully led the team of 60 volunteers from EDHEC. Between joy and financial crisis, the year 2009 allowed these students, who are a little crazier each year, to take their first steps in a large-scale project—a “true work of utilitarian and entertaining art” as confirmed by Maurice, an octogenarian and loyal reader praised in the guide.
