These 13th meetings, essential for ensuring the protection of our beloved Mediterranean, will take place from September 25 to 27 at Phoenix Park (Linnรฉ Hall).

This event is organized by the Marine World Discovery Center, an association for environmental education and sustainable development, under the high patronage of the European Parliament. This organization is the initiator and facilitator of the Euro-Mediterranean Network.


During these three days of debates and reflections, key players in the protection and awareness of the marine and coastal environment of the Mediterranean basin will gather to explore the major challenges of tourism in our region, which is the world’s number one tourist destination. Successful and already tested actions will be presented to other stakeholdersโ€ฆ In order to find common, concrete, and sustainable solutions. This exchange of best practices will allow the delegations to address the issues in their areas of intervention.

The highlights of the event will revolve around the proposals of young people on the theme, expert conferences, an exhibition, workshops, and roundtable discussions.

Every year, the Assises Jeunes et Mรฉditerranรฉe brings together representatives from the 21 countries surrounding the Mediterranean to develop and sustain the REM, a network of field actors who unite to share practices, create tools, and implement awareness campaigns throughout the Mediterranean. All around the Mediterranean, we care about our little blue planet that we must protect to leave a legacy for our future Mediterranean generations.
