Swimming: Three Nice Residents Qualify for the Junior European Championships

The Centre for Access and Training in NICE shone during the French Junior Championships in a 50m pool in Chalon sur Saรดne from April 16 to 21 with 15 swimmers from Olympic Nice Natation.

The Nice athletes excelled during the French Junior Championships, competing in 27 finals and winning 16 medals, including 7 French Champion titles. As Relay French Champions, we have Nรฉo Dutriaux, Mathieu Dufraigne, Romรฉo Fadda, and Alexandre Phillips in the 4 x 100m Freestyle, 4 x 200m Freestyle, and 4 x 100m Medley.

Romรฉo Fadda claimed a title of French Champion in the 200m Backstroke and 100m Backstroke tied with Nรฉo Dutriaux. Finally, Byron Rega Pezard became the French Champion in the 50m Butterfly.

XXL Performance by the Niรงois

Romรฉo Fadda was unstoppable, securing the title of Vice French Champion in the 200/50m Backstroke. Alexandre Philipps also earned the title of Vice French Champion but in the 50/100m Butterfly.

The bronze medals went to Chiara Lesbats, 3rd in the 200m Breaststroke, Mathieu Dufraigne 3rd in the 200m Breaststroke, Noรฉ Pantskhava 3rd in the 50m Backstroke, and Nรฉo Dutriaux 3rd in the 50/100m Butterfly.
