Latest News

On the occasion of the 17th day of the Pro B table tennis championship, Nice CPC makes its last trip of the season to face US Fontenay-sous-Bois on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, in the Paris region.

The Nice table tennis players are coming off two very good performances: a great victory against Villeneuve-sur-Lot on April 17 at the Raoul-Dufy hall (4-2) and an equally convincing draw on May 1 in Rouen (3-3). With a balanced record (5 wins, 5 draws, 6 losses), they are ranked 5th in the championship, tied with Rouen. If they win next Tuesday in the Paris region, they can hope to surpass the Normans at the finish line.

The team of Olivier Maero and Cรฉdric Rouleau will play, as they did ten days ago, with no pressure, away against Fontenay-sous-Bois, which has the Briton and former Nice player Andrew Baggaley (no. 32) in its ranks. They will nonetheless aim for the same objective as the first match, namely victory, which was relatively swift on December 20 last year at Raoul-Dufy (4-0).
