The association “Tandem Charité,” supported by Crédit Mutuel de Nice Cassini, will organize an auction on July 4th at the Port of Nice.
In the facilities of their partner, Crédit Mutuel de Nice Cassini, Latvian students Karina Mikolajenko and Marina Matkova presented their non-profit association, “Tandem Charité.”
The two young women, who have been living in the Azurean capital for a year now, decided to create this association to raise funds for projects that help children with cancer.
To achieve this, they will hold an auction on Friday, July 4th, starting at 4:30 PM, at the Maud Barral gallery, located at 16 quai des Docks on the port of Nice.
On this occasion, numerous Azurean artists such as Ben, Claudine Dupeyron, and Alain Bellino will offer their works. Besides the auction, there will also be a performance by mermaid Ambre Saint-Clare.
Present during this presentation, Gérard Van den Bulcke, the director of the Alpes-Maritimes committee of the League Against Cancer, praised such an initiative, reminding us that it is through this type of action “that we must strive to change the image people have of cancer.”
