Soleil Productions is behind this humanitarian project in support of an association: the Core of Hope. An association originally created by a group of minors who, affected by the death of one of their classmates due to leukemia, decided to mobilize.
Loric is a singer from the Nice region. You might know his first single *System Love*. Four months ago, he decided to join this project for the 2009 Telethon.
“I contacted my friends, I knew they would agree to do this with me.”
He was right, and it is these generous and talented people who made this project feasible.
Despite the cold that chilled everyone’s insides, all the artists showed up and gave their best for the Telethon cause.
The show begins with Athéna Calléa, a comedian from Nice, who performs her sketches with the voice of Mado la Niçoise.
Next up are Anthony Joubert and his friends, or rather *William de Fly and his brothers*, three quirky men, never short of ideas to make the audience laugh. A true contagion of laughter!
Remarkably, on the same day, Anthony Joubert was a godfather of the Arles Telethon and made the trip on the very evening to perform in Nice.
Jacques Reggiani, the son of the famous Serge Reggiani, sings his father’s songs on stage. He conveys all the power of his singing through a flawless interpretation of his hits.
Gérôme Gallo, with an angelic voice and face, brings emotion to the “show” with his performance of his single *Mademoiselle*, the music video of which will be released in a few days. His album is set to be released in February 2010. An event not to be missed!
The most important person of the evening, Loric, accompanied by his dancers, performs his song *System Love* with communicative energy and a true love for the stage. “I love songs about women,” he says, eyes sparkling, as he talks about his flagship song.
He does not forget at the end of his performance to warmly thank the spectators for braving the cold to attend the event.
Priscilla, who has become a young woman full of romance, sang accompanied by her friend Laurent Marion. Both are actors in the French series *Chante* broadcast on France 2 during the 2009 Christmas holidays.
“Priscilla is a very good friend, and really a great person,” notes Loric, proud of his longtime friend.
The blonde Shalya follows, a French version of Shakira.
Then it is Donald T.’s turn, an American artist ready to conquer France, to take the stage. A true “show man,” he floods the audience with his inimitable style and communicative joy of living. An exceptional groove and voice, you are likely to hear about him again very soon.
The joy of the artists explodes at the end of the “show,” as they all enjoyed a unique moment. Loric expresses his happiness: “We did it for a good cause, I am really very pleased with the result!”
The 2009 Telethon evening raised a total of 90,107,555 euros in pledged donations, unfortunately 15 million euros less than the previous year.
