On the occasion of the European Archaeology Days, the Alpes-Maritimes Department is offering a special program suitable for everyone.
On June 17, 18, and 19, the region 06 comes alive. Guided tours, introductory workshops, meetings with archaeologists, film screenings, and conferences will be offered free of charge to the public at three departmental cultural sites: at the Musée des Merveilles in Tende (Avenue du 16 septembre 1947 – Tende), at the Lazaret Cave (33 bis Boulevard Franck Pilatte – Nice), and at the Museum of Asian Arts (405, Promenade des Anglais – Nice).
History enthusiasts or simply curious visitors, whether with family or friends, the public is invited to discover the behind-the-scenes of heritage and archaeological research for three days.
This program in honor of these three days is likely linked to Nice’s ambition to become the European Capital in 2028.
