The Night of the Museums has become an unmissable spring event. For its tenth edition, this Saturday, May 17, the municipal museums and galleries in Nice will open their doors between 6 PM and 11 PM.

At the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, a headlamp will allow for a better discovery of the works of the School and to share the surprising exchange between the dancers of the contemporary dance class from the Regional Conservatory and the works of American figuration.
At the Lascaris Palace, small groups of singers will take turns performing a repertoire, mainly baroque and classical, along with some contemporary pieces, throughout the space. Music lovers and musicians will certainly enjoy attending the promenade concert offered by a flutist who will present, in front of the works of his choice, a poetic and musical interlude at the Museum of Fine Arts. Music remains a highlight with an exceptional concert of repetitive and minimal music at the Marine Gallery.
The Archaeology Museum at its Terra Amata and Cimiez sites offers to discover its collections from the original perspective of cinema and humor. The youngest visitors can come to discover Prehistory differently, with Alain Chabatโs quirky film โRRRrrrr.โ Fans of the famous series Kaamelott by Alexandre Astier and history enthusiasts will be delighted to rediscover Late Antiquity and understand how the humorous series can illuminate the museum’s collections.
