The 11th Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival presented the awards to the winners.

The comedy directed by the Spanish director Javier Ruiz Caldera won the award for best film, and Imma Cuesta received the award for best actress. Best Director, Best Actor, and the Special Jury Prize for photography went to the German film Fack ju Göhte by Bora Dagtekin. Best Production Award went to the Russian film Speak Of The Devil.

The best comedy of the year was judged to be Sole a catinelle by Checco Zalone, produced by Pietro Valsecchi for Taodue. Awards were presented by the Festival President, Ezio Greggio, with lifetime achievement awards to Vittorio Storaro and Lina Wertmuller. Special awards were given to Carol Alt, Alessandro Siani, the Negris, and Marcorè Arcadiy Golubovich.

The jury, chaired by Vittorio Storaro and composed of Lina Wertmuller, actress Carol Alt, actor and producer the young Russian Arcadiy Golubovich, and producer Ilya Bachurin, selected the films this year among the top box office successes in their countries of origin.

All of this year’s winners participated in the gala finale, which took place at the Rainier III Auditorium with Ezio Greggio as master of ceremonies, assisted by Miss Canada Elena Semikina, for an “all-star” evening that characterized the unique nature of the event.
